Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation treatment performed with the AcuMicro pen. Fine needles create controlled micro-channels at a precise depth, from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm depending on the area and the skin concern. Each channel prompts the body’s own healing response, producing new collagen, elastin, and capillaries, while the skin’s surface stays intact rather than being burned as with peels or ablative lasers.
Over a series of treatments, microneedling can improve tone, texture, and firmness and reduce the look of scars, pores, and stretch marks.
