Why “Inner Body”?

The name comes from learning to sense health from within—not only through measurements or appearances, but through breath, sensation, energy, emotion, and the body’s changing relationship with its environment.

Sinéad first encountered Qigong while studying Traditional Chinese Medicine in Kunming, China. During a sustained Tai Chi stance, an experience of effort giving way to spaciousness changed how she understood the body. That curiosity became a long study of Chinese medicine, movement, meditation, and embodied education.

Today, her work combines the structure of clinical training with a movement practice shaped by Qigong, yoga, martial arts, dance, and Buddhist meditation. The aim is not to present these as separate techniques, but to help people build a more attentive relationship with their own bodies.

Education and credentials

A practice grounded in continued study

She has practiced yoga since 2006, studied Qigong since 2010, and continued training in Tai Chi, Wushu, Gaga movement language, and meditation. That range informs a teaching style focused on direct experience rather than performance.
